new year’s eve dinner
Our new head chef, Jamie, has prepared a fabulous menu for New Year’s Eve, full of local produce and tasty combinations. Click on the link to view our NYE menu.
The evening will start at 6.30pm with homemade snacks at the bar. You will be seated at 7pm and served the first of 4 delicious courses. After dinner you are welcome to see the new year in with us, we will have plenty of champagne on ice.
Dinner is £65 per person. A £15 deposit is required per guest to secure your table. You can book here online, email or by phone. If you book online or by email, please phone or drop in to pay your deposit by the 24th December, when we will also require your choices for the second and third courses.
The George Christmas party menu is now ready, please click on the box below to view our pre-order menu. We can take bookings for parties of 4 or more in our restaurant or for larger parties you can book one of our function rooms upstairs. Brunswick is perfect for smaller groups of up to 12 and Hanover can seat up to 26.
The menu will be available from the beginning of December, Monday - Saturday. We will require you to pre-order your meal choices along with a £15 deposit per person.
We have vegan and gluten free options available but please be sure to make us aware of any allergies or dietary requirements when you are making your reservation and to your server on the day.

Steak Night
Relax in our cosy dining room and enjoy a chargrilled 8 oz sirloin steak with all the trimmings and a 175ml glass of Merlot or Pinot Grigio, or a pint of Butcombe or San Miguel for just £25.

FIRST WEDNESDAY
THE GEORGE SUPPER QUIZ - is already a firm favourite with the locals so please book early to secure your table. The supper we serve on the night will be a classic from ham egg and chips to chilli con carne with always a plant based alternative on offer too. £14 per head - maximum of 4 to a table/team. Please book in advance as tables are limited.
WOOLLEY WEDNESDAY UPDATE
While we settle in our fantastic new kitchen team we are postponing the additional Woolley Wednesday menus. Please check back in the new year to see our exciting new events & offers including our CULINARY SAUSAGE NIGHT when we will introduce our very own George Sausage!
