BURNS NIGHT SUPPER
Last year we promised to bring you some new and exciting events for 2025…
Join us for our very first Burns Night Supper at The George.
Pipe Sergeant Mr Keith Turner, a lead piper with The Wiltshire Caledonian Pipes and Drums band will welcome guests and lead the procession of the Haggis into the restaurant. The Addressing of the Haggis will be delivered and ceremonially 'stabbed'.
Guests should arrive at 6.30 to enjoy the music. Dinner will be served at 7pm.
Jamie our head chef has put together a delicious four course Burns night supper, with a contemporary twist. The evenings menu and entertainment will be £49.50 per person. A £15 deposit is required at the time of booking so if you book online please call to pay your deposit. Places are limited so please book asap.

Relax in our cosy dining room and enjoy a chargrilled 10 oz rump steak with all the trimmings and a 175ml glass of Merlot or Pinot Grigio, or a pint of Butcombe or San Miguel for just £25.

FIRST WEDNESDAY
THE GEORGE SUPPER QUIZ - is already a firm favourite with the locals so please book early to secure your table. The supper we serve on the night will be a classic from ham egg and chips to chilli con carne with always a plant based alternative on offer too. £14 per head - maximum of 4 to a table/team. Please book in advance as tables are limited.
WOOLLEY WEDNESDAY UPDATE
While we settle in our fantastic new kitchen team we are postponing the additional Woolley Wednesday menus. Please check back in the new year to see our exciting new events & offers including our CULINARY SAUSAGE NIGHT when we will introduce our very own George Sausage!
